Heavy Gauge Thermoforming

Extrusion

Our versatile extrusion capabilities give our customers the edge they need in top-quality, cost-effective product. By extruding our own materials, T.O. Plastics can control the quality of its roll stock goods while providing significant time and cost savings to our customers. Our coextrusion lines enable us to combine multiple plastics into a single material. This can be done to create plastics with specific characteristics and capabilities. Coextrusion is also beneficial as a cost-reduction tactic by pressing scrap materials into a useable form.

Equipment and Trim Methods

Our complete production facilities are outfitted with both in-line and cut sheet capabilities, enabling even greater efficiency and versatility in production options. With state-of-the-art OEM equipment, we’re able to provide numerous trim methods. Our plastic trim capabilities include in-line trim, off-line trim, steel rule die, matched metal die, and 5-axis CNC router. After producing precise parts, when required, we have the capability to verify quality and measure the geometry with one of our high precision coordinate measuring machines. As a result, we provide the best overall process suited to each individual customer’s needs.

Value-Add Capabilities

Additional value-add capabilities enable us to provide ease and efficiency in post-production, too. Customers rely on T.O. to complete kitting, labeling and barcoding, inventory management, and lid stock sealing operations. By providing these secondary operations in-house, we can effectively reduce time to market.
